This cream-painted building has seen various extensions over the years and now comprises a wood-panelled, parquet-floored, low ceilinged drinking area at the front, which leads through on the left to a rear area often used by diners. The old Sussex flint-faced outbuilding at the rear is worth a second look. There may be a guest beer which is likely to be local and to change every couple of months. Food is served Tuesday to Friday 12-3 and 6-9, Saturday 12-9 on Sunday 12-4. The outside barn is used as a function room. There is a garden bar in use in summer along with barbecues when the weather is good. There are weekly quiz and Karaoke nights and monthly live music. Free Wi-Fi is available and dogs and families are welcome.
