This large pub is set away from the village and is split into three areas. One of these houses a restaurant and the others are bar areas, the main one of which has an inglenook with a stove in it and a dart board. The pub hosts music, quiz and poker nights. Home cooked food, with daily specials, is available every day from 12-2.30 and 6-9.30, except Sunday when it is 12-4, there is a Friday night carvery and there is a separate kids’ menu. The garden includes a patio area and a children's play area. A refurbishment in 2006 saw the pub change its name from just the Plough. The beer range may vary from the above.
