Young's Bitter Guest Beers
The Yew Tree is half way up Reigate Hill, next door to the Esso garage. Although there has been a pub on this site for 300 years, the current building dates back to 1938. The pub has a mock-Tudor exterior, leaded glass windows, wood panelled walls and a parquet floor, and was very much smartened up late 2007. Good quality locally sourced food is served with the menu changing every twelve weeks. This is available all day up until 10pm. The one bar serves two distinct areas separated by a large chimney breast in which there is installed a real fire. The side on the left is more of a restaurant area with the tables usually laid for diners and the right hand side is the main drinking area, with dogs welcome, and has papers available. Outside there is a pleasant patio garden. There is live music once a month and WiFi is available. Children over 12 are welcome. The two guest beers vary, and usually include one from a microbrewery, and the views of the locals are taken into consideration when the choice is made. (see above) Symbols explained
