A comfortable and pleasant dining pub, food is available each day from 12-3 and 5:30-9:30 (all day at weekends). The single bar is well broken up into separate areas, with a comfortable restaurant to the rear. The food is of good quality, mostly local, and booking is recommended at busy times. Cream teas are also available all day. Part of the pub is now a shop and delicatessen where a wide variety of meat, cheese and vegetables are sold. There is also a good selection of bottled beer from King and Hogs Back, and wine from Denbies. The pub also has facilities for the disabled.
