No real ale 
Well situated chain restaurant where the closest thing to real ale is the draught Hoegaarden which has sadly been pasteurised. There is a small raised bar area for those who just want a drink. Originally opened as Muswells, a chain of café bars owned by Allied Breweries, it became the Red River Café around 1994. It is open all day.  (see above)
