Adnams Bitter Wells Bombardier
A large rambling pub, it is set back from the main road. The pub itself dates from the 17th century, but the frontage is 19th century. In the early 20th century the town band used to play in front of the pub. Open all day, it is now stuck at the top end of the sad pedestrianised High Street. The pub is mainly frequented by younger people in the evening and weekends, with sport shown on large screen TVs. Food is available each day from 12-8 and children are welcome until 9. The pub features a real fire and has a large conservatory. (see above) Symbols explained
