Fuller's London Pride, ESB, seasonal beer
The Prince Albert has been known as such since 1882, although the building dates back to about 1500. It was originally a three bay medieval timber framed open hall house. Today it is a very welcoming pub which has a central bar serving three rooms. The separate restaurant area can be booked for private parties. In the summer the secluded suntrap of a garden, with fishpond, can be a good place enjoy a quiet pint or three. There is usually a third Fuller's beer on, which may well be Discovery. Traditional home made pub food, with game often a feature, is available lunchtime from 12-2:30 (3 Sunday) and evenings from 6:30-9 (not Sunday). Darts is played in one of the three bars and there is a shove ha'penny board. There are quiz and poker nights, discos and live bands and events supporting village charities. Although the pub does not have its own car park, there is ample parking space in front and off road along the High Street. (see above) Symbols explained
