Originally three cottages, the Diamond was named after Queen Victoria’s jubilee. Darts is played in the one bar which also features an open log fire. Live music is played once a month. The pub is dog friendly pub, and children are welcome until 9pm. The pub was called the Kingsman for a while but this proved unpopular with the locals and so the original name was restored. The pub was refurbished and much improved in 2007. CAMRA members will a discount on a pint of real ale on production of a valid membership card. Food is served from 12-9 Tuesday to Saturday and from 12-4 Sunday. Note the large collection of clocks throughout the pub, and also Morag who keeps a watchful eye on the bar from above the fireplace.
