Large 1930s pub set away from the village centre, the Bell was built on the site of an earlier pub. The recently refurbished single bar is divided into three areas by large pillars. Food is a prominent part of the business and is served all day until 10 (9:30 Sunday), with changing specials and a children’s menu. Families are welcome until 9:30pm. A large tiered terrace runs the width of the front of the pub for the warmer months. Dominoes and board games are available to play. Originally a Hodgson’s of Kingston house, it was sold to the Magic Pub Company who were then bought by Greene King. It was bought by Young’s in 2004.
