From the outside this is a most attractive example of an inter-war Brewer’s Tudor roadhouse in cottage-style of red brick, steeply pitched tile roof incorporating a dormer and splendid original Crittall windows. Formerly the Wheatsheaf, it was transformed in 2007 into a Tapas Bar and Restaurant. What was the public bar is now a restaurant, although food is served throughout the pub. Around a couple of dozen tapas dishes are sold along with main meals. Traditional Sunday lunches are sold. Open all day.
